Meeting with adviser part 2

In 3/5 I had a meeting with my FYP adviser Charles. He pointed out several mistakes and problems of my songs. I tidy up the points and advise below,

Song 3 - Confused

1/ The sound track/ music element in the beginning needs to last longer til the music totally in.

- in the beginning of the song, I composed beats using software instrument with tuning to act like the sound of clock.

- I will review the choice of sound element put in the song see if it really related to the song and also will merge it into the music otherwise it will sound like two part of thing.

2/ Although the name of the song is "Confused", the mixing and arrangement can't be confused in the whole song.

- I will review and think about what atmosphere I really want to create in this song and remix it.

- maybe adding a bridge that is a mix of different kind or noise.

*Also, I am working on the lyrics of this song now

Song 4 - Final

1/ Also the reverb problem

- As I mentioned above, I will review the reverb in all the songs.

2/not finished!?

- Actually I wrote this song quite a long time ago. But then I am being stuck in the lyrics part. My originally steps to create a song is first of all think of the melody of the chorus part and then add some more music element. But then I found it is difficult for me to think of the suitable lyrics for the ready-made melody. I am not good enough to fill in the melody with meaningful lyrics. So that's the reason that I still cannot record the vocal part of this song.

- I am thinking to give up this song if I don't have enough time for it.

- OR another plan is to write a poem for it and then read it out and treat it as a kind of sound element so I can merge it into the song. Poem will be easier for me to handle as I love to jot down my thoughts in paper and phones. I have plenty of ideas in it.
