In 3/5 I had a meeting with my FYP adviser Charles. He pointed out several mistakes and problems of my songs. I tidy up the points and advise below,

Song 1 - 日常(Daily)
1/ redo the guitar part by finding a better guitar instrument data(?) OR record it in real guitar.
- Actually I tried many different software guitar sound in Halion plug-in but "guitar" just sounds abnormal if I use keyboard to compose it as I don't have much knowledge about guitar playing
- It would be tough job for me if I need to record the real guitar sound as I want to finish the whole album by only myself. I would need to recompose the chord as guitar is different from keyboard and I would need to learn it....(I know a little bit but ...)
2/ Mix the song by using a better speaker.
- I use my headphone to do the mixing normally (not the apple one anymore) but seems that the bass performance is weak in my headphones so I always add excess reverb and bass.
- Also, I do my mixing in project room mainly as I enjoyed the doing it alone in a small room, but unfortunately, the speaker system in project 2 is not working (I tried to fix it or figure it out but not successful ), the system in project room 1 is totally fine but it is a popular room that always occupied by other schoolmates.
- I will review the mixing of the songs at my own speakers at home, and jot down some comments. So I can do amendment in the next day in CMC as I don't have Logic Pro in my own computer.

Song 2 - Midnight
1/ The linkage of the sound elements I recorded and the song is missing.
- It is a serious problem that I often think of, as when it comes to the production part, it was very different from the picture I imagined beforehand. I used to think that I could write something about my 4- year university life for my FYP, but then I could only write something about myself, my feelings, my thoughts which are always sad, depress and unhappy. It doesn't represent my entire university life actually, but I could only write these out at this moment as I am still new at writing songs and expressing myself.
- To solve the problem I will try to record some sound elements related to the song. For example, breathing sound in room, chatting sound from others.
2/ The piano's reverb is too big
- it is because of the same reason as I mentioned above, I wil try to book a "healthy" project room or the audio lab to do the mixing (once I finish the basic mixing)
3/ The reverb amount of the vocal track always change
- I don't have a clear idea about how to mix the vocal sound track into the song before Charles pointing out the problems, The consulting is really helpful as I really don't have many experience in making songs.
- I balanced and tuned the reverb of the vocal and re-recorded some part of the vocal as there are some distortion happened in the previous track.
TBC.
